Note from the President:

Getting Involved: All TMR members are encouraged to get involved with the club as best they can, this can include doing any of the following:

Attending club climbs and other functions.
Suggesting a climbing venue for a long range club trip and then promoting and organizing it.
Writing trip reports for club publications.
Taking picture slides while climbing for presentations at club functions. Photos prints can be used for club publications as well.
Expressing your opinion on club issues.
Volunteering your expertise (whatever it may be) if it can help improve the club.
Finding areas that the club could improve on and make suggestions.
Participating in the activism programs that the club sponsors.
Offering to assist newer climbers learn.
Considering running for a club officer position.
Doing anything that can help improve the club or the Houston climbing landscape.

Librarian Note:

The list of the club's books available for check-out is maintained in an Excel spreadsheet and can be found here. As some library items have not been returned in the past there may be a deposit required. Send a message to TMR Librarian if you would like to check out an item from the library or want a text version of the list. Requests for new purchases can also be e-mailed.

Treasurer Note:

Membership Payments: Membership dues can be made by check, cash or by making a PayPal payment (cash only, no credit cards) with dues being sent to TMRTreasurer@HoustonClimbing.com. Cash is accepted at club functions. Membership payment checks should be made to Texas Mountain Raiders and given to any club officer or can be mailed to:
